Fortune International, the developer of Jade beach and Jade Ocean, has purchased the site at 16901 Collins Ave in Sunny Isles directly south of the existing Jade buildings. The $22 million sale closed Monday and was recorded the following day.
Master Swiss architects Herzog & de Meuron have designed a condo tower for Sunny Isles Beach. It's called Jade Signature. A conceptually designed building, the project is a parallelogram that angles all the oceanfront apartments to the southern sun. Units go from 1 bedroom to 6, and the penthouse is a massive estate way up in the sky which will be built for that special buyer. Downstairs, a lap pool and lagoon pool flank a beach grill and what looks like a grand staircase. Features will be club rooms, lounges, full service Spas and gym and of course a beach club.
Jacques Herzog & Pierre de Meuron, the Swiss superstar design duo, have made their footprints in Miami. First, of course, was the parking garage that needs no explanation; the 1111 Lincoln Road. Second is the currently under construction Perez Art Museum Miami. And third will be Jade Signature in Sunny Isles Beach. The building is 649 feet high, with 56 floors, and 224 total units. The landscaper is no other than the renowned Raymond Jungles, and the architect of record ADD Inc.
